This year, for the first time, we invited Dutch artists to participate. Hans van Bentem creates interesting projects and has already collaborated with Czech glassmakers in the past. Hans van Bentem and Rachid Assoui will spice up the summer festival in Liberec.
Guided tours of the "Keep on Dreaming! " exhibition will take place on Tuesday, August 27 from 10am to 2pm. You will be guided by the artist Hans van Bentem himself and fashion designer Rachido Assoui.

You will be able to see the whole set of medals up close in the Regional Gallery in Liberec
On Tuesday 27 August at 5 pm, the designer Kateřina Handlová, who designed the medals, will present them personally. Together with her, Michal Vlček from the Kolektiv Alteliers studio in Nový Bor, where the crystal trophies were created, will talk about their production.
A guided tour of the winning designs of the Young Glass Symposium will take place on Tuesday, 27 August at 6pm and will be presented by Mgr. Jakub Jelínek, Chairman of the Young Glass Symposium z.s.

With this installation, Ondřej Kábele wanted to draw the viewer into his perspective of perceiving the world while listening to electronic music, where he observes and explores everything around him in greater depth. He created a soundtrack for the installation on a modular synthesizer, which also became the inspiration for the morphing of the whole object. Blocks of glass serve as a gateway to observe the ever-changing space defined by the structure from the 3D print. Neon passes through each block as a source of energy that reveals a reflection of another space, as Ondrej's music reveals another reality

The exhibition presents the journey of Jan Schindler (born 1971) through the world of engraved glass from his very beginnings in 1992 to the present. On display are his school works from the Secondary School of Glass Arts in Železný Brod, as well as commercial works created between 1995 and 2019.

The premises of the tram depot of the Transport Company of the City of Liberec, which for the third time becomes a partner of the Crystal Valley Week festival, will become the centre of Czech fashion creation on Saturday 31 August from 7 pm.
Take a ride on the historic tram from Viaduct through the city centre to Vratislavice and enjoy the stylish Christams decoration by Rautis and Decor by Glassor.
The festival week is now accompanied by a beautiful glass dragon. The mythical beast spits out fire to melt its glittering tail, saying: 'Glass is eternal. It is our history, present and future."
Crystal tower. The museum tower houses an artwork by brothers Jan and Ondřej Salanský - the 26-metre high glass ladder Climax Paradisi, which was created as part of the Crystal Valley project. Although it is made of glass, at first glance it looks as if it were made of stainless steel. It is made of technical glass that is silvered on the inside.

Pavlína Čambalová studied the grinding and engraving of precious stones at the Jewellery School in Turnov and glass engraving at the Higher Vocational School in Nový Bor under the leadership of Jiří Tesař. She was grinding glass for eight years in Vienna, studied and worked abroad, and then returned to the Czech Republic and opened her studio in Železný Brod. In her studio, she produces engraved glass and moldavite glyptics, she teaches engraving and organizes workshops. However, we will not find there all year round. She regularly teaches, creates and exhibits her engraved glass pieces all over the world – regularly in the USA and Germany, but also Japan, China, Estonia, Scotland etc.
Speed breaks down the imaginary barriers between the world of sport and the world of art and establishes an inspiring dialogue between them. The authors of the exhibition, Filip and Lukáš Houdek, have combined their long-standing passion for fast bikes with their love of art and have imprinted it with the precision and innovation of the craftsmanship of glass products. Speed is a leitmotif of our time, it touches us all in many forms, whether we want it or not, and the Houdek brothers' exhibition dedicated to the phenomenon of motorsport is just a natural outgrowth of this civilizational inclination

With this installation Josefína Váchová will present her works. She focuses on the Pâte de verre glass technique, fused sculpture and combination of materials.
During Crystal Valley Week 2024, the programme at Liebieg Palace will tell the story of the Czech garnet and introduce the tradition of making jewellery with Czech garnets, accompanied by creative workshops aimed at introducing the production of garnet jewellery in a playful way to children.
During the exhibition "With a passion for Czech garnet" you can go with your children to the Children's Club and become a goldsmith. The creative workshop will reveal many golden secrets.
