16h Bejvl Design Studio - lecture
The former InterContinental Hotel, built between 1968 and 1974 under the leadership of Karel Filsak in the historic center of Prague, is one of the best examples of Central European brutalist architecture. Thanks to the involvement of a number of artists and craftsmen, it is also one of the most representative buildings of its time. The ongoing renovation has reached the final stage of its first phase. The goal is for the building to once again serve as a dignified representation of the best of past and present craftsmanship and artistic creation. Our studio was responsible for the professional renovation of the original lighting fixtures.
