Exuviae 2.0
The Exuviae 2.0 collection is an experimental project aimed at exploring the possibilities of collaboration between two distinct disciplines - design and original glassmaking. The aim of this collaboration is to establish a dialogue between technologies that do not normally work in direct relation, and to search for a common field of expression.
Pavel has long been involved in the creation of glass vases with an emphasis on purity of form and functional design. Andrea, on the other hand, explores the relationship between form and matter in her glass work and her approach is more conceptual and expressive. The Exuviae 2.0 project aims to find the intersection of these two different worlds and to create a new platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and shared experimentation.
Pavel Kopřiva jr.
Pavel Kopřiva jr. is closest to the position of authorial design, creating imaginatively designed limited collections of objects. They are decorations that may or may not have a clear practical purpose. Kopřiva received his education in design and interior design at the UJEP in Ústí nad Labem and the Czech Technical University in Prague, and today he creates under his own label.
