Ajeto for artists

During this year's Crystal Valley Week, the Ajeto exhibition for artists will present the long-standing artistic collaboration between the glassworks and Czech artists and designers.

Visitors will see not only the work of the founders of the glassworks, Petr Novotný and Bořek Šípek, and their long-time court glassmakers represented by Ivan Kubela and Petr Kuchta "Satan", but also objects from the collections of contemporary designers who regularly create at Ajeto, such as Linda Pro, the Dechem studio, Lukáš Jabůrek, Hana Hillerová, and František Jungvirt. Works created over the past years as part of the International Glass Symposiums in Nový Bor will also be represented, for example by Maxim Velčovský, Jaroslav Róna, and Milan Kunc.

The exhibition will showcase the diversity and strength of Czech glassmaking, which continues to hold its supreme position at Ajet.
