Exhibition of the PENOCZE studio
Studio Penocze is run by glass artists Eva Nováková and Irena Czepcová, who founded it in 2011 together with Dagmar Petrovická.
The studio has a wide range of work from original product design, interior lighting design to site-specific installations.
An important aspect of their work is often the use of an artificial light source and its subsequent relationships to other objects, the space and its effect on the viewer.
In their projects, they specialise in working with glass in combination with other industrial materials such as metal or concrete.
The artists share a love of glass and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity and technical solutions, as well as the theme of sustainability. Their ultimate goal is to create exceptional and functional objects that perfectly reflect the connection between light, form and decor.
You can get to know penocze's work at the Glass Museum in Železná Brod, where their collection of vases is part of the permanent collection, or see installations of their lighting fixtures at exhibitions such as the 2boom collection at the GASK Gallery or in the interiors of interesting places such as the Most mini-brewery.
