Exactly two years after the birth of the iconic glass objects for the American film GLASS ONION : A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY, the drawings will reappear at Jiří Pačink's glass factory in Kunratice near Cvikov, and the famous film set designer and art supervisor John Dexter will once again be remotely involved in the production of a unique series of ten specially selected crystal objects from director Rian Johnson's film GLASS ONION! These will be exclusively presented during this year's Crystal Valley Week in Liberec at the neo-rock Café Pošta, from 28 August to 24 September 2023, as part of the special exhibition TRIBUTE TO GLASS ONION, dedicated to the collaboration of PAČINEK GLASS with T STREET PRODUCTION and NETFLIX.
Under the artistic supervision of David Sobotka, the PAČINEK GLASS glass team will recreate the glass BERRY, FLY, TORSO, DANCER and other glass gems that were used in the film to surround the world stars Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr. and Janelle Monáe, and which played a crucial role in the final scene of the film.
Visitors can thus look forward to the GLASS ONION exhibition in Liberec, where real glass objects will be connected in a perfect spatial illusion with those on the film screen or television screen...
