During Crystal Valley Week 2024, the programme at Liebieg Palace will tell the story of the Czech garnet and introduce the tradition of making jewellery with Czech garnets, accompanied by creative workshops aimed at introducing the production of garnet jewellery in a playful way to children.
Children will learn what a goldsmith needs to know in order to make a garnet jewel. They will try their patience, play a little designer and try the goldsmith's technique of setting. They will make a wire ornament using a template. We look forward to seeing you!
