Filip Lukavec’s first official exhibition. The combination with the unique exhibition space at Liberec City Hall promises an immersive experience

The exhibition titled "Premiere," held on the second floor of the historic Liberec City Hall building, is Filip Lukavec’s first official exhibition.

This promising young glass artist combines traditional glass-cutting techniques with modern concepts. The Nový Bor-based glass cutter, a graduate of the Secondary School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Kamenický Šenov, will present original fused glass sculptures and cut vases from his studio as well as pieces on loan from private collections

Filip Lukavec views his exhibition as a unique opportunity to present his own work to a wider audience. “Glass is most beautiful in person. I believe that, combined with the unusual exhibition space, visitors will take away an intense experience.”

From the festival exhibition, visitors can also step out onto the town hall balcony, which is open for this special occasion.
