We are delighted to present the VOSKOVKA light fixture at Crystal Valley Week, a piece created before and during Lustrfest in Kamenický Šenov.

This fifth light art installation will move in August to the glass, jewelry, and costume jewelry festival in Liberec, specifically to the beautiful gardens of the Liebieg Palace.

Preciosa Lighting, the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Kamenický Šenov, the City of Kamenický Šenov… and every visitor to Lustrfest contributed to the creation of the VOSKOVKA artwork.

Nature has inspired glassmakers since time immemorial. That is why this year’s crystal artwork for Lustrfest was dedicated to nature’s beauty, power, and uniqueness.

VOSKOVKA was created under the direction of Preciosa Lighting in collaboration with SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov. Festival visitors also participated in its final decoration during Lustrfest.

The Crystal Valley flourished thanks to the richness of the surrounding nature. It was precisely the clean sand, water, and high-quality wood that enabled the development of the glassmaking craft, which has made this region famous throughout the world. And although today we seek new paths and materials, the connection between glass and nature remains exceptional.

VOSKOVKA is inspired by natural shapes, colors, and their beautiful irregularity. A delicate network of leaves is adorned with wax pearls in pearlescent shades, which together create unique patterns, ornaments, and motifs. Every visitor’s contribution adds a new story to the flower.

We believe that the sight of a blooming VOSKOVKA will bring joy, wonder at the beauty of colors, and admiration for the possibilities of crystal.
