Palác Liebieg - Garáž | 170 let skla a světla | SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov

The "170 Years of Glass and Light" exhibition will showcase a selection of works by students from the Secondary School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Kamenický Šenov in the unique spaces of the historic garage at Liebieg Palace.

As part of Crystal Valley Week 2026, the exhibition will offer a glimpse into the contemporary work of the younger generation of glass artists, designers, and creators of light objects. Visitors will see works created at the intersection of traditional glassmaking, original artistry, and modern technologies, which today are naturally integrated into the design and production processes.

The exhibition will demonstrate that glass remains a living material capable of reflecting the contemporary world—sensitively connecting history, light, innovation, and the courage to experiment.

You can visit the exhibition in the historic garage of the Liebieg Palace from August 24 to September 12, 2026.
