The exhibition showcases the work of young students at the Higher Vocational School of Glassmaking in Nový Bor, focusing on glass design and stained glass. The project combines traditional glassmaking techniques with the innovative approaches of the current generation of artists.
In their works, the students experiment with light, color, texture, and space. Each piece reflects the artist’s personal perspective on the contemporary world while honoring the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
The central theme of the exhibition is the spectrum—not only as the physical dispersion of light passing through glass, but above all as a diverse range of artistic approaches, themes, and emotions. Young artists experiment with transparency, reflections, texture, and color. Each object thus becomes the artist’s personal commentary on the contemporary world, while remaining respectful of the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking.
