Carnival of Plants

Beata and Daniel Vágner created a series of beautiful glass objects for the Liberec Botanical Garden. Thanks to their collaboration with leading Czech florist Klára Franc Vávříková, you can admire the beautiful combination of glass and flowers

The husband and wife team of Beata and Daniel Vagner have settled in Chotyně, where they work under the Vagnerglass brand.

He graduated in glass technology at the Secondary School of Art and Crafts in Železný Brod and through life's twists and turns he got into artistic glass processing, she started with ceramics and eventually decided to focus on glass. The couple met through their passion for glass. Daniel Vágner used to go to Poland to train at the cutting plant, where his future wife happened to work.

Klára Franc Vavříková is currently designing and realising large exhibitions such as Flora Olomouc, Floria Kroměříž or Flowers at the Exhibition Grounds in Lysá nad Labem. Her handwriting can also be found on the charity event Rozkvetlé Jezeří. She is a champion in floristry in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, she represented the Czech Republic at the European Floristic Championship in Genoa, Italy. Cooperation with glassmakers has given her work another dimension. Glass suits flowers and glass suits flowers.
