300 years of a unique combination of light and crystal

The production of crystal luminaires, typical for North Bohemia and the area called the Crystal Valley, celebrates this year an incredible 300 years since its inception.

The tradition that has shaped life in our region continues and brings joy to generations to come, whether it be classic chandeliers or state-of-the-art luminaires in innovative designs complemented by dynamic features.

The majestic cut glass chandelier perfectly showcases the unique optical properties of crystal. It literally comes to life through the rays of light it reflects or refracts, creating a breathtaking spectacle.

The timeless chandelier is visible from the entire Liberec square thanks to its dimensions. The precise workmanship is the work of local master glassmakers. The chandelier was supplied by ArtCrystal Tomeš, a company based in Jablonec nad Nisou. For over 35 years, its lamps have been shining in various projects from ceremonial halls of town halls, representative halls of castles to interiors of private buildings not only in the Czech Republic but also all over the world. For example, in the recently renovated Máj shopping centre on Národní třída in Prague, you will find more than 300 ArtCrystal Tomeš luminaires.
