How Are Glass Artworks Created Through the Eyes of Children?

The exhibition showcases the results of the unique Young Glass Symposium project, which brings together talented children and young artists with experienced glass artists and craftsmen.

From June 18 to 21, 2026, selected students from elementary art schools in the Czech Republic and abroad will gather in Kamenický Šenov to transform their designs into actual glass artworks under the guidance of experienced glassmakers and educators.

The symposium offers children a unique opportunity to explore the world of glass firsthand in the glassworks, studios, and workshops of the world’s oldest glassmaking school, as well as at the Preciosa Lighting and Antares Art glassworks.

Prof. Liběna Rochová serves as the project’s ambassador and artistic director.

Opening reception: Sunday, June 21, at 2:00 p.m.
