We warmly invite you to the open day at the Salansky Art Studio showroom in Liberec!
The brothers Jan and Ondřej Salanský will be presenting their works to you in person. The creators of the world’s longest glass staircase will guide you through the exhibition space and surprise you with some unusual glass objects.
Do come along and be inspired by the beauty of the glass light fittings, vases and other works.
The showroom is located above the Sweet City café – you’ll need to enter and walk through the café, then take the stairs up one floor!
The brothers Jan and Ondřej Salanský form a dynamic duo who create designs featuring unique, holistic solutions and innovative techniques. In addition to their own creations, the Liberec-based Salansky studio also undertakes bespoke commissions, ranging from private homes to the public sector. Their projects focus on combining glass art objects with original lighting fixtures. Another speciality of the SALANSKY duo is site-specific installations.
Visit the tower of the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec, where you can admire the work of the Salanský brothers. A 24-metre-high glass ladder, created for the ‘Crystal Valley Week 2022’ festival, complements the audiovisual presentation of the Crystal Valley there.
You can also admire another of their works, entitled ‘Penetrace’, in the gardens of Liberec Castle, for example; it was created in collaboration with Crystal Valley. The crystal energy from the clear glass rods pushes to the surface and breaks through the granite subsoil so typical of Liberec.
