Lasvit is preparing an exhibition titled The Element That Connects, which presents the Splash art project as a visual metaphor for water—an element that has connected places, people, and cultures since ancient times.
The exhibition will be on view at the Naive Theater in Liberec from August 24 through September 12.
The centerpiece of the exhibition will be a light-filled glass installation by designer Martin Gall, which explores the emotional resonance of water and its fluid, ever-changing forms. The molten glass captures this fluidity and transforms a fleeting moment into a permanent, light-filled object.
In the context of the Crystal Valley Week festival’s theme, “Connecting Cultures,” Splash becomes a symbol of mutual understanding. Just as individual drops come together to form a single stream, art is capable of transcending the boundaries of languages and traditions. The exhibition invites visitors to pause, to appreciate the beauty of detail, and to realize that it is shared experiences that connect us all.
The Splash project is also a wonderful example of modern design that combines aesthetics, technology, and inspiration from nature. And we are looking forward to this installation at the Naive Theater!
