As part of Crystal Valley Week 2026, COZY STUDIO will present the exhibition Maxim Velčovský: A JE TO!, created at the renowned AJETO art glassworks in Lindava. The exhibition’s OPENING RECEPTION, attended by the artist, will take place on August 24 at 4:00 p.m.!

Here, glass is not merely a material, but a medium for storytelling. With a sense of detachment, humor, and irony, Maxim Velčovský transforms traditional trophies into objects imbued with new meaning. The exhibition explores themes of success, prestige, and transience, demonstrating how contemporary design can combine masterful craftsmanship with deeper meaning. The installation also features objects made of uranium glass, which create a unique atmosphere thanks to their characteristic fluorescence.

The AJETO Glassworks, where this exhibition was created, has been a meeting place for leading designers, artists, and master glassmakers for more than thirty years. It is here that many iconic works and prestigious awards known around the world have been created.
