What does the future hold for Czech glass and jewelry? Come discover it at the UNFRAMED exhibition, which will showcase the work of students and faculty from the Glass and Jewelry Design program at the Department of Design, Faculty of Textiles, Technical University of Liberec, as part of the Crystal Valley Week 2026 glass festival.

The new festival exhibition space, BG KLUB, offers a convergence of creativity, experimentation, and artisanal precision. The exhibition will showcase works created at the Department of Design, which for two decades has been bringing together the glass and jewelry studios to create a unique environment for contemporary design.

The exhibition will take place from August 24 to September 30, 2026, at BG KLUB, Masarykova 1320/16, Liberec.

The opening reception will be held on August 24 at 6:00 p.m. The opening will feature a performance by student Nicol Cábová starting at 6:30 p.m.

As part of the accompanying program, a guided tour of the exhibition will take place on August 27 at 4:00 p.m., combined with a pop-up presentation of studio jewelry.

The students build on a centuries-old tradition of glassmaking and jewelry design while also utilizing the cutting-edge technologies available at the research facilities of the Technical University of Liberec. The result is a collection of original pieces that blur the boundaries between art, design, and innovation.

The UNFRAMED exhibition invites visitors to discover the work of a new generation of designers who will help shape the future of Czech glass and jewelry.
