The Bead Festival will showcase the best of Czech jewelry and glassmaking traditions. PRECIOSA ORNELA, MISAMO, JSB Bijoux, BEADGAME, and Křišťálový ráj will showcase their products, new releases, and creative approaches. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the latest collections of jewelry, costume jewelry, and glass beads, as well as meet the experts behind their creation.

A major highlight will be the “Live Magic at the Blowpipe” program, which will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Under the guidance of experienced masters, glass beads will be created right before visitors’ eyes. Glass winding and blowing are among the most impressive craft techniques and will demonstrate how tiny works of art are born from molten glass.

For those who want to try their hand at the craft, specialized workshops are available. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, visitors will learn traditional bead-stringing techniques, design their own original jewelry, or become familiar with the precise technique of sewn jewelry under the guidance of renowned designer Iva Mastníková. MISAMO will also offer a unique glimpse into the secrets of glass melting and winding.

Families with children will also find plenty to enjoy. Creative workshops will be open throughout the festival, where visitors of all ages can try their hand at working with beads, painting on glass, or creating glass mosaics. Everyone will take home not only an unforgettable experience but also a handmade keepsake.
