We are delighted to introduce the second ambassador for the upcoming Crystal Valley Week festival. The role has been taken on by the multi-talented artist, actress and presenter Barbora Mottlová.

Barbora’s connection to the Czech Republic’s largest festival of glass, jewellery and costume jewellery lies not only in her appreciation of beauty and elegance, but also in her long-standing admiration for Czech design, traditional crafts and genuine creative work. It is precisely this fusion of contemporary culture with the unique heritage of glassmaking that is one of the main missions of the Crystal Valley Week festival.

Visitors will have the chance to meet the ambassador in person during the festival programme in Liberec itself. Barbora Mottlová will attend exhibition openings, social events and the heart of the festival’s activities. She will also be seen at the Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev, where she will be staying.

Even before the festival began, she visited some of the participants in their studios. During these meetings, she had the opportunity to get a close-up look at the work of local artists, designers and master glassmakers.

We are delighted that Barbora Mottlová has joined the Crystal Valley Week family. Her genuine interest in Czech art, her positive energy and her natural ability to connect with a wide audience will help showcase the beauty of glassmaking and costume jewellery craftsmanship to new visitors and fans alike.

Crystal Valley Week 2026 will offer a varied programme packed with exhibitions, openings, guided tours, meetings with creators and unique experiences linked to the world of glass, jewellery and costume jewellery. The festival will once again bring together leading figures, traditional craftspeople, artists and visitors from the Czech Republic and abroad.
